Compare two PDFs and see what changed
DocGlue is for two related documents that should describe the same deal - a quote and an invoice, a purchase order and a bill, or two versions of an agreement. It is not a generic redline of every word.
What you get
Upload two PDFs. DocGlue reads labeled fields and line items, then reports matches, differences, missing lines, and values it could not confirm. When a value was found on a page, the report says which page. If a page has no selectable text, DocGlue reads the scan.
What it is not
Very blurry photos, non-English scans, and files with no page image can still fail, and the error says so. This is not a side-by-side pixel highlighter, not a word-by-word redline of unrelated files, not a legal review, and not an accounts-payable system. You decide what a mismatch means.

Compare two documents
Upload two PDFs, or try the Cedar Peak sample. Put the document you agreed to first (a quote, an order, or the earlier version) and the one you are checking second. Differences show what changed in the second one. If a quote and an invoice are the wrong way round, DocGlue swaps them and tells you. Text you can select is read as written; a scanned page is read only when it has no selectable text.
Auto reads symbols such as R, $, EUR, GBP, CAD, and AUD. Pick a currency when an amount has no symbol. If the two PDFs clearly use different currencies, the report warns you and does not subtract them.
Try sample pair loads a Cedar Peak quote and invoice, then runs the same comparison as an upload. Nothing is saved.

How does DocGlue compare two documents?
Upload two PDFs. DocGlue reads each page, and reads an English scan when a page has no selectable text, up to 6 image pages. It extracts parties, dates, references, totals and line items, then matches them across the two files. The report shows what matches, what changed, what is missing and what it could not confirm, with the page each value came from. The files are discarded when that request finishes.
What is DocGlue not?
DocGlue is not a side-by-side pixel highlighter. It does not paint every moved word or pixel on the page. It compares the prices, quantities, lines, totals and wording of two related documents, and leaves the judgment with you. It is not legal advice and not accounting software.
