Quote vs invoice

See if the invoice matches the quote

The quote said one number. The invoice says another. Reading both PDFs side by side is slow, and it is easy to miss a line that was never approved. DocGlue checks the pair for you.

What this mode checks

Totals, tax, and subtotals. Quantities and unit prices on matching line items. Lines that appear on only one document. Purchase-order numbers when both files have them. Supplier and customer names when they are labeled.

Quote numbers and invoice numbers are expected to differ. Dates often differ too - that is called out, not treated as a failure by itself.

Who this is for

Homeowners checking a contractor’s bill, freelancers reconciling an estimate to a later invoice, and anyone holding a quote PDF and an invoice PDF who wants a discrepancy list before paying.

Limits

Text must be selectable in the PDF. This is not bookkeeping software and not tax advice. Auto-detect is available if you would rather not pick the pair yourself.

Compare two documents

Upload two PDFs. DocGlue reads the text, matches the important information, and shows differences with page evidence. Quotes, invoices, purchase orders, receipts, delivery notes, change orders, and contracts all work.
