Operations
Turn repetitive document checking into a routine.
Operations teams check the same kinds of documents every day. DocGlue makes each check fast, consistent and exportable.
The problem
The same check, done a hundred different ways.
Deliveries against orders, receipts against invoices, revised documents against originals. Each person has their own method, and the results live in inboxes and notes.
The work is too varied for rigid templates and too repetitive to keep doing by eye.
Documents this covers
- Delivery notes
- Receipts
- Purchase orders
- Invoices
- Any two related PDFs
The DocGlue workflow
From two PDFs to a decision.
- 01
Pick the pair
Delivery note vs invoice, receipt vs invoice, or any two related PDFs. Auto-detect picks the pair for you.
- 02
Extract and compare
The same engine reads both documents and applies the same checks every time.
- 03
Review the exceptions
Filter to differences and missing lines. Matches stay out of the way.
- 04
Export and file
Download the report or export CSV and JSON for your own tracking.
The result
What DocGlue checks.
- Delivered versus billed quantities
- Missing or extra items
- Totals and tax
- Dates and document references
- Wording changes between versions
What you get
- One consistent method for every check
- Exceptions surfaced, matches out of the way
- Structured exports instead of notes

Illustrative figures. Real reports add page evidence for every value.
Try it
Run the check on your own documents.
Free, no account. Files are read in memory and discarded when the comparison finishes.
Delivery note vs invoice
Upload two PDFs, or try the Cedar Peak sample. Put the document you agreed to first (a quote, an order, or the earlier version) and the one you are checking second. Differences show what changed in the second one. If a quote and an invoice are the wrong way round, DocGlue swaps them and tells you. Text you can select is read as written; a scanned page is read only when it has no selectable text.
Auto reads symbols such as R, $, EUR, GBP, CAD, and AUD. Pick a currency when an amount has no symbol. If the two PDFs clearly use different currencies, the report warns you and does not subtract them.
Try sample pair loads a Cedar Peak quote and invoice, then runs the same comparison as an upload. Nothing is saved.
Waiting for two PDFs
Add the Delivery note and the Invoice. Results list matched fields, differences, missing lines, and uncertain matches.
FAQ
Operations questions.
Can I automate this without uploading by hand?
Not yet. Email forwarding, an API and integrations are planned. Today, uploads are made in the browser.
Can I save a history of checks?
Recent comparisons can be kept on the device you used. Saved history in an account arrives with accounts.
What if a document is not a standard type?
Choose Any two documents. DocGlue still compares labelled fields, amounts, line items and wording.
More solutions
Procurement
The lowest total is not always the cheapest quote. DocGlue lines up what each supplier actually included, so you choose on scope, not on the bottom line alone.
Accounts payable
Before an invoice is approved, DocGlue compares it with the quote or purchase order and lists every line, quantity, price and total that does not match.
Construction
Projects change. DocGlue shows exactly what changed between the quote, the variation and the invoice, so scope creep is a decision, not a surprise.
Stop comparing documents line by line.
Upload two PDFs and get every changed price, quantity, line and total, with the page it came from. Free, and no account needed.
No credit card. Files are read in memory and discarded.
