Privacy

DocGlue processes the documents you upload so you can see whether they agree. Comparing documents does not need an account. Accounts are optional.

What we process

• The PDF files you upload, held in memory only long enough to read the text and compare them.
• The comparison report returned to your browser for that visit.

Retention

Uploaded files are not stored as a document archive and are not kept as customer records. They are discarded when the comparison request finishes. Logs note that a comparison ran. They do not include document contents. The report stays in your browser unless you copy it yourself.

Device history

In the workspace, finished comparisons can be kept in your browser's local storage so you can reopen them. They never leave your device. You can switch this off or clear it in Settings.

Accounts

If you create an account, we keep your email address, the workspace created for it and your plan, so you can sign in again. Sign-in links are emailed through Resend. Account data is held in our Convex database. Uploaded documents are not attached to your account.

If you buy a paid plan, payment is handled by Polar. DocGlue receives your subscription status and a customer reference from Polar. We never receive or store your card number.

Messages you send

If you write to us, use the contact form on the Contact page. Your message, the reply address you enter, and an optional name are sent to the DocGlue team so we can respond. The DocGlue team handles those messages.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your documents.
• We do not use your files to train models.
• We do not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO certifications.
